Roberto and I took off for the safari of a lifetime. A new friend at work, Hellen Keraka, aka Muthoni, invited us to go home to Nakuru, Kenya with her this summer. Our trips overlapped by 2 weeks then we were entrusted to her husband Evans Mokamba, aka the General, for our last week. The general is someone who is obeyed first, questioned later, if ever. We love him. Evans says to be ready at 5:45am and we are. Anyone who knows Roberto and his insomnia can appreciate this. Our adventure was so rich for knowing and being cared for by these fabulous people, their friends and family.
